BAFTA har annonceret nomineringerne til dette års British Academy Games Awards, der giver et øjebliksbillede af de største og bedste spil fra 2020.
Ikke overraskende, Den sidste af os del II optræder stærkt i en masse kategorier og har rekord med 13 nomineringer. Naughty Dogs efterfølger stjæler kronen fra Control og Death Stranding, som begge toppede med 11 nik hver sidste år.
Nye IP'er Tsushimas spøgelse og Hades er ikke for langt bagud og tjener 10 og otte nomineringer henholdsvis. GoT var en af PS4's iøjnefaldende eksklusive i 2020, mens Supergiant Games' storslåede isometriske roguelike Hades dukkede op på mange af en Game of the Year-liste for et par måneder siden. inklusive NEWSAM's .
Vinderen af kategorien EE Game of the Year er den eneste afgjort ved en offentlig afstemning, med en shortliste bestående af Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, Hades, Call of Duty Warzone og VALORANT.
